At MTTI, we focus on short-term, intensive training. Our goal is to give you the skills and knowledge to start your new career as quickly as possible!
The full-time day program is completed in only 27 weeks. The evening class is part-time and can be completed in just 68 weeks.
Learn By Doing
At MTTI, we stress the importance of hands-on learning! While you attend MTTI’s Automotive Service Technician program you will spend at least half your time in the shop; actually spinning wrenches, and fixing cars.
Throughout the program you will often complete the same actual live repairs, you will perform when employed in the industry.
After graduating, you will be well-prepared for a transition into the automotive industry workforce. The experience you gain at MTTI helps prepare you for a full-time career as an Automotive Service Technician.
Tools
Each student in the Automotive Service Technician program is provided with a set of Snap-on tools to use in class. In addition, MTTI students can purchase tools from Snap-on at a 55% discount. Students who successfully enter training-related employment may be eligible for a tool bonus.
Certification
Additionally, successful completion of MTTI’s Automotive Service Technician program will qualify as one years work experience towards ASE certification. You are typically required to work in the automotive field for a minimum of two years before you can qualify for ASE certification. For more information about ASE certification please contact us.
