Each student in the Building and Property Trades Technician program will complete an internship with a trades or property maintenance company. The internship provides you with valuable experience in an actual work atmosphere. Additionally, the internship provides an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door at a potential employer!
After graduation from the Building and Property Trades Technician program, and beginning training-related employment within 90 days, we allow you to purchase $350 in industry-related tools. MTTI will then reimburse you for the purchase. The complete Tool Bonus Policy is outlined in the Student Orientation Booklet.

Faculty and Staff
MTTI instructors are highly experienced in each facet of the Building and Property Trades taught within the program. Instructors have extensive experience in residential and commercial construction and remodeling. Each instructor meets the standards of approval by the Massachusetts Office of Private Occupational School Education (OSE) within the Division of Professional Licensure (DPL), the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education, and the ACCSC (the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.) MTTI Instructors and Staff work together with Career Service Specialists to assist students in pursuing their career goals.
Students who successfully complete the 825-hour program will receive a Building and Property Trades Technician Diploma. Each of MTTI’s programs has been approved by the Massachusetts and Rhode Island state education agencies, and the ACCSC (the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.)
